Roger College of Law.  Ponoroff has been dean at Tulane for eight years – including several challenging years holding things together in the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina.   Before joining Tulane in 1995, Ponoroff was a professor and associate dean at the University of Toledo School of Law.

Meanwhile, closer to my home, University of Pennsylvania law professor Wendell Pritchett has moved across the river to become Chancellor of Rutgers-Camden.  Pritchett joined Penn in 2001, and was an associate dean from 2006-08.  For part of the last year, he served in  the administration of Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter. Pritchett succeeds our own dean here at Drexel, Roger Dennis, who had served in the Rutgers post for about a decade.

That's terrific news for Rutgers-Camden. Wendell is a great guy and I can't think of anyone better to lead a urban university. I'm sure he'll do well, though I'm sorry to see him leave Penn.
