Supreme Court Speculation: Recommended Reading

Supreme-courtship For those who like to speculate about who the new Supreme Court nominee is likely to be, I would recommend reading Christopher Buckley's novel, Supreme Courtship, which was written in 2008, but possibly resonates even more today.

Faced with a hostile senate judiciary committee, an unpopular president ends up nominating a court TV judge to the Supreme Court.  It's a lot of fun and a biting satire on the political process.

I actually listened to the audio book version read by Anne Heche and, even though I'm still in two minds about the audio book format, I really enjoyed this reading.
