Jennifer Mnookin Named President of Columbia University

University of Wisconsin Chancellor, and former dean of UCLA Law, Jennifer Mnookin, has been named the new president of Columbia University.  Mnookin joined UCLA Law in 2005 and became dean in 2015.  In 2022 she moved to Madison.  She will join her old decanal colleague, Laura Rosenbury, who is the president of Barnard College. With Kent Syverud’s recent appointment as president of the University of Michigan, this has been a busy time for law professors in university leadership.
