A new edited volume, Markets in Human Organs for Transplantation: Controversy and Contention (James Stacey Taylor & Mark Cherry, eds.), is now available in hardcover and ebook. The book revisits long-running debates over organ markets, incentives, and moral permissibility, with chapters arguing both for and against market mechanisms. My chapter, co-authored with Al Roth, examines WHO self-sufficiency and nonremuneration principles and is open access.
