Harvard Law School Grading

The Crimson has the  latest on the Harvard Law School's grading curve and how it awards honors.

    According to the article, the top 37% in each class would get "honors". That seems like a lot, does it not? I'd guess that covers well into the B+ range of grades at most schools. The next 55% that gets "Pass" also seems like a big clump. Maybe there both isn't a meaningful difference among these students at Harvard and any difference between them is unlikely to matter to employers (unless you have a lot of "low pass"- then they'll really know you're in the bottom 8%), but if those two are not true then it seems like a bad move to me.
