Congrats to lounge co-host Al Brophy and other Carolina fans, whose Tarheels routed the Michigan State Spartans last night to capture their fifth NCAA men’s basketball championship (and the second for coach Roy Williams). Impressive. Impressive indeed!
But a big shout-out also goes to the South Texas College of Law advocacy program. Over the weekend a team from South Texas captured first place in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, a tournament that started with 187 teams competing in six regionals. South Texas defeated ten other teams on its way to claiming its 101st advocacy title. 1-0-1. Now that’s impressive!
