Just looking at the post on entry level hiring over at Prawfs and I realized that the coming weekend is the last free weekend before those of us on law school appointments committees have to explain to our families why we can't go out and play because we have 1,000 CVs to evaluate. What are you planning to do with your last weekend of freedom?

Jacqui, I'm going to draft blog posts for the next four months (so Dan doesn't fire me!), as my "blog time" will now be pushed aside as I chair our faculty appointments committee.
Oh, and maybe I'll polish my c.v.! Perhaps circulating it to a few select schools (Case Western?) would give me a better sense of empathy for the 2,387 entry-level candidates whose materials I'll soon be reviewing!

And I better get on to stockpiling my own share of blog posts although at least I don't have to chair our hiring effort this year.
