Well, now that we've rounded the new year's bend, it's time to start thinking about things to look forward to in 2010….
We'll have the new editions of Dan Filler's lateral moves list and the visiting faculty list, as well as revisions to the open law dean searches list. But, hey, nothing compares to the 2011 US News law school rankings, which are due out in April 2010. I've even got a countdown clock. (For this purpose, I'm guessing that the new law school rankings will be available on April 1 — but maybe you'll have to wait a little longer. Wouldn't want to wait too much longer, because student deposits are often due in April, so prospective students will want them out in time to make some decisions.)
