The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports today that Phyllis Crocker has been appointed Interim Dean at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. She replaces Geoffrey Mearns who stood down on January 28 when he was appointed Interim Provost (should that be "stood up" rather than "stood down" then?). The story notes that:
"Ms. Crocker has been associate dean for academic affairs since 2006 and has been a faculty member at the college since 1994. She has taught criminal law, civil procedure, criminal procedure and seminars on capital punishment. Ms. Crocker also served as vice chair of the 2004 Law Dean Search Committee."
