Last weekend the ABA hosted the final rounds of its 2009-10 National Appellate Advocacy Competition (which began with 196 teams). Kudos to South Texas College of Law, which successfully defended its 2008-09 title by defeating the University of Texas
in the final round. An STCL student was named the top individual advocate, and a second STCL team received the best brief award.
From the press release: STCL has won this competition fifteen (15!) times, and this victory marks its 104th national advocacy title overall. Additional info here (April 10 entry).
Well done!
