Law School Wins Prestigious Award

Stthomasproject Kudos to our friends at the University of St. Thomas School of Law (MN).  Earlier this month the law school's Community Justice Project, partnering with a local chapter of the NAACP, was named the recipient of the 2010 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Partnership Award for Campus-Community Collaboration.  The award includes a monetary prize of $10,000, in this instance presented by the Hon. Alan Page, a "Purple People Eater" (although I'm thinking his judicial robe is a different color).  Pictured is St. Thomas law professor Nekima Levy-Pounds, who directs the Community Justice Project.  The university's press release is here.
