We continue our focus on World Series trivia, this week highlighting pitching career stats.
1) Ten — most complete WS games (name the pitcher)
2) Nine — most WS home runs allowed (name the pitcher)
3) Eight — most WS losses (name the pitcher)
4) Seven — most consecutive WS wins (name the pitcher)

Whitey Ford has the most losses (and ten wins). Bob Gibson the 7 consecutive wins.
As to the complete games, I don't know offhand, but I'd guess a real old-timer, when starters were expected to finish. Probably a NY Giant, Cubs, or Red Sox pitcher.
Gibson's 7 consecutive wins were all complete games as well. Gibson pitched an 8th consecutive complete game (which I believe is also a record), but lost the game when Curt Flood slipped in Game 7 of the '68 Series.
Not sure who gave up the nine homers. I'd guess it's somebody like Mike Mussina or Andy Pettitte.
Whitey Ford is the correct answer for most career WS losses (eight).
Bob Gibson is the correct answer for most consecutive WS wins (seven).
Mussina and Pettitte are incorrect answers for most career WS homers surrendered.
