Northwestern announced the appointment of Professor Kim Yuracko, law and feminism scholar and current associate dean, as interim dean of its Law School. Dorothy Roberts is chairing the search committee. The committee is notable for including at least three faculty with a strong interest in practical lawyering (of the six total faculty included.) It features one clinical professor who teachers a clinic, one clinical professor who teaches writing, and one non-clinical professor who teaches in the program of advocacy and professionalism. Perhaps they'll select a dean who is a skills education enthusiast. Then again, maybe it'll be an entreprenurial professor, tops in her field, who never went to law school. Can't wait to find out!
