My colleague, and Vanderbilt law alum, Matt Festa passes along the sad news that Vanderbilt law professor Richard Nagareda has died. Professor Nagareda was an expert in mass tort litigation and directed Vanderbilt's litigation and dispute resolution program.

I am shocked and saddened to hear this. His family will be in my thoughts.
Thanks for posting it Tim. Beyond his remarkable scholarly accomplishments and brimming reservior of good will, Richard was the single best classroom teacher I have ever known.
