Do you have a co-author?
If so, is your relationship governed solely by the publisher's contract? Or might you wish to address certain matters in a contract between you and your co-author? What might those matters be? Royalty splits? Addition of new co-authors? Joint commitment for future editions? Death (retirement, departure, etc.) of a co-author? Other matters?
