The End of LexOpus

I noticed today that LexOpus (the online submission system that was a little more international and gave a little more flexibility to authors and journals than Expresso) is ceasing operations at the end of May.  Announcement here.  I don't know the background to the decision to stop the service, but would be interested in any info others may have.
