More Test Score Fraud, More Resignations

Claremont-mckennaThe fraudulent reporting of standardized test scores continues – this time with an elite undergraduate program.  A senior administrator at Claremont McKenna College, in Southern California, resigned after admitting he'd provided US News critical reading and math SAT scores that had been inflated an average of 10-20 points each.  US News currently lists the school as the #9 liberal arts college in the country.  More details here.

A couple of months ago I noted that score fabrication has created a whole new business for accounting firms.  It appears that the potential client base for these firms – as well as the law firms that clean up these messes – is ever-growing.
