I'm voting for the film on the left. Can't say that I've watched more than fifteen minutes of any of the LOTR movies.
Yesterday's result? Godfather (89.8%) defeats Terms of Endearment (10.2%). Next up for Godfather? The winner of On the Waterfront v. Titanic.
After about 200 votes, Godfather Part II led 58-42%. Now The Godfather Part II is trailing. I think the Hobbits have taken over the voting. It would be a shame for this whole enterprise to lose credibility on Day 2. Thus lie the perils of Internet voting.
Return of the King now leads 74-26%. Apparently, LOTR fans posted the poll on Facebook, and the rest is history. Oh well. Return of the King is a nice film, but it is no The Godfather Part II.
Indeed, the difference between Return of the King and The Godfather Part II is the difference between Tolkien and Tolstoy.
