Strunk and White “Spin Webs with Words Like my Name was Charlotte”

I've never been a fan of Strunk & White's The Elements of Style, but this video via the LA Timess did make me chuckle.

A few choice rhymes:

Split infinitive

Never definitive

Sounds unintelligent

Dumb and inelegant.

Just say it like you meant

Always write with intent

Each word precious

Like Benjamins that you spent.
