Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Law – Tenured or Tenure-Track
Description:
The University of Houston Law Center invites applications for lateral (already tenured or tenure-track) positions and entry-level tenure-track positions.
Applicants must hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent) and should have outstanding records of accomplishment in scholarship, teaching, and service, or demonstrate a high probability of success as scholars, teachers, and future members of the Law Center's broader community. Compensation will be based on experience and accomplishment.
These positions will commence with the Fall 2013 semester.
The areas of particular interest include: Environmental/Energy Law, Criminal Law/Criminal Procedure, Transactional Law, International Law, Business/Banking Law, Commercial Law, ADR, Constitutional Law, Professional Responsibility, and Procedure.
The Law Center has 50 full-time faculty and enrolls a total of 1000 students. In addition to offering a vibrant J.D. program, the Law Center offers LL.M. concentrations in health law; taxation; energy, environment, and natural resources; international law; and intellectual property. The Law Center is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.
