Campaign Songs (and Lyrics)

I get that campaigns are only loosely tethered to the truth.  This is politics.  But does anyone who chooses songs ever read the lyrics?  See, e.g., Starship's "We Built This City."  Who at the RNC thought that would be a good song to use?  Remember the lyrics include this phrase: "someone's always playing corporation games."  Is there any way that recalling this song helps Governor Romney?  Also, I haven't heard Randy Travis' "For Ever and Ever" of late at any of the Romney campaign appearances.  They had it on what seemed like continuous play during the primaries.
