Courthouse Trivia

PA080640Continuing with the absurdly difficult trivia — this is a courthouse in a pretty obscure place.  Identify the courthouse at right.  In the  background, just to the left of the courthouse you can see a Confederate monument.

I believe that's the old Brunswick County Courthouse in Lawrenceville, VA.

(These are great… Keep them coming!)

Al. Why don't you ever go above the M-D Line. One might start questioning your sympathies

Very, very nicely done Owen. I have no idea how you do it — this is beyond obscure. The courthouse is really beautiful.

Ah, Bill, very funny. I think we're a ways off yet from people thinking I'm a neo-Confederate! But in response to your comment, my next trivia question will be of a monument to a United States Civil War hero (even though it, too, is from south of the Mason-Dixon line).

I'm always looking for good monument trivia questions — so if anyone has one from north (or south) of the Mason-Dixon line, please send it along. My stock of photos for trivia questions is rather low.
