Hofstra is removing the "interim" tag from Eric Lane's title, naming him the law school's ninth dean, effective January 1, 2013. Story here. Lane joined the Hofstra law faculty in the 1970's. His areas of expertise include constitutional law, statutory interpretation, and legislative process.
