On November 4, Duquesne University announced that Duquesne Law Dean Kenneth G. Gormley would become the university's new president. Prior to assuming his new role on July 1, 2016, Gormley is taking a sabbatical. Professor Nancy Perkin is serving as Interim Dean and the university is launching a search with the goal of appointing a permanent law dean before the beginning of the 2016-2017 academic year.
