Last week I blogged about Ta-Nehisi Coates' takedown of Senator Sanders' opposition to reparations. Now Martha Jones is taking on Hillary Clinton's 2008 invocation of Harriet Tubman. This essay is inspired by Clinton's gaffe about Reconstruction. I wrote some about Clinton's use of Tubman back in 2008, too. But, really, sometimes anecdotes are too good to pass up.
