I'm delighted to report that the University of New Hampshire and U.C. Hastings are hosting a symposium honoring our beloved colleague and mentor, Calvin Massey. The symposium will be September 24, at UNH and will have a number of Calvin's colleagues and friends from around the country. Cribbing now from the school's announcement:
Please join the University of New Hampshire School of Law and UC Hastings College of Law in commemorating the life and work of Professor Calvin Massey on September 24, 2016, at UNH Law in Concord, NH. Calvin was a gifted writer, influential scholar, and generous mentor who left an indelible impact on countless students and peers. Calvin’s friends, colleagues, and academic collaborators will share responses to his monumental scholarly and personal contributions in the areas in which he wrote and taught. We plan to spend the morning in the classroom, in tribute to Calvin’s passion for teaching and learning, and the afternoon outside, in tribute to his love of the outdoors.
