Many thoughtful friends have asked how we are handling the polar vortex in Chicago. As a half-Canadian, all I can say is that it's just another winter day in Winnipeg. Or, as Pete Seeger tells it:

I grew up in Oregon and my dad played this song for me on his guitar throughout my childhood. Amazing.
