I Can’t Help It If I’m Still in Love with You

"I Can't Help It If I'm Still in Love with You" was originally released in 1951 as the B side of an immediately forgettable tune. It has since become one of the great standards in country music, with dozens of covers, perhaps most famously by Patsy Cline, and often as a duet. The first clip below has Hank and Anita Carter singing together on the Kate Smith Evening Hour in 1952. (I know that the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Flyers have recently stopped playing Kate Smith at games, due to racially offensive recordings she made in the 1930s, but this is one of only two or three video performances ever made by Hank Williams, and Smith herself is not on it.)
