John Ford, Actor and Movie Director … and Klansman

He was a Klansman.  This was in 1915.  But he was director How Green was My Valley and the Battle of Midway.  Odd and strange.

    it's long been known that Ford appeared as a Klansman in D. W. Griffith's 1915 The Birth of a Nation.

    I've yet to meet an attorney who thought that Justice Black's membership in the Klan was a big deal.
