Chag Pesach Sameach (und Gut Yontif)

This matzah cover was embroidered by my great-grandmother Sarah Mermelshtayn in 1902, shortly before she married my great-grandfather Boruch Levitt in Odessa. We found it last month, folded in a drawer at my late mother's house and had it framed (museum quality mat and glass). It is in remarkably good condition after 118 years, but it is still too delicate to use.

For those who cannot read the Hebrew, it says L'shanatova b'Yerushalayim, literally "to a good year in Jerusalem" but usually translated as "next year in Jerusalem." Her initials "S.M." are on either side of the date.
