I'm excited to announce that my hybrid chapbook, A Registry of Survival, is out from Last Word Press. It explores my relationship with my mother during a time when she was homeless. It also describes the strain on our relationship caused by her mental health struggles. There is a legal angle too, as the work discusses teaching Property and the course's connection to what my mother was going through when she became homeless. Author Rebecca Brown commented that "It’s like the words of A Registry of Survival were extracted from the heart, like clean sharp needles pulling out, but true and hard and needing to be said."
