The University of Arkansas School of Law welcomes applicants for four positions.  We seek to fill two doctrinal positions with areas of particular interest including constitutional law; evidence; civil rights; professional responsibility; and family law. We also welcome applicants with interests in any upper-level courses relating to our areas of primary focus. We also seek to fill two tenure-track clinical positions: one position to direct a criminal practice clinic and another to direct a transactional or entrepreneurship clinic.

In addition to teaching, each position requires scholarly research and service activities for the law school. Minimum qualifications for each position include a JD degree or international law degree, distinguished academic record, and scholarly promise. Clinical candidates must be licensed attorneys and eligible to become a member of the Arkansas Bar or willing to sit for the Arkansas Bar. The ideal clinical candidate will have at least one year of clinical teaching experience and three years of practice experience in the clinic subject. All positions include full parity in voting, salary, research support, and travel.
