Daniel Abebe Named Dean of Columbia Law

Columbia Law has announced that Daniel Abebe will be its next dean.  He is currently vice provost for academic affairs and governance at the University of Chicago and professor of law at the University of Chicago Law School.  Abebe, who holds a JD from Harvard and a Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Chicago, will take over on August 1.
