Two Positions at the University of Idaho

THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO COLLEGE OF LAW seeks to hire an entry-level tenure track or lateral faculty member to teach at its Moscow location. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses determined in consultation with the dean, with potential areas of need including Tax Law, Civil Procedure, Contracts, Sales, or Professional Responsibility. The faculty member will also pursue scholarship, mentor and advise students, and participate in university service and outreach activities. Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent and at least three years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience. The University of Idaho is an R1 research institution, with law school campuses in both Moscow and Boise. The position, open to entry-level and lateral applicants, is a fiscal-year clinical appointment with faculty voting rights and associated faculty governance responsibilities. The faculty member will teach academic skills and bar courses, develop and administer academic support and advising programs, and participate in university service and outreach activities. Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited school (or equivalent), have passed a bar exam in any state, possess at least three years of post-J.D. experience in practice, clerking, or teaching, and have some teaching or related experience, ideally in a law school academic success program.
