Wayne State University has named Richard Bierschbach as its new president. Bierschbach, who served as dean of the university’s law school starting in 2017, was appointed interim president last September. He has now been voted into the role permanently by Wayne State’s Board of Governors. Bierschbach holds a JD from the University of Michigan.
