Memphis Law Seeks Civ Pro/Evidence Visitor

This just in:

The University of Memphis School of Law seeks applicants for a visiting professor for the 2026-27 academic year in the areas of Civil Procedure and/or Evidence. Civil Procedure is a two-semester five-credit 1L course, and Evidence is 4-credit 2L course. The visitor’s full-year course load is two courses per semester; but we are happy to consider a one-semester visit. Qualifications for this position include a J.D. degree, academic achievement, and a demonstrated record of superior teaching. Salary will be commensurate with experience. We will consider applications as they are received and will continue until the position(s) is filled. Applications should include a cover letter and CV. Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, Memphis is a wonderful place to spend a year or semester. We enjoy a low cost of living, amazing music and food, and southern hospitality. Please send applications and direct any questions to Prof. Lynda Black, chair, Faculty Recruitment Committee at L.Black@memphis.edu.
