From the student editors at the Pace Law Review:
The Pace Law Review invites proposals from scholars to participate in a symposium to be held during the 2026–2027 academic year. Every year, the law review journals of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law work with esteemed scholars to organize symposia on timely legal topics. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to academic excellence and the advancement of contemporary legal scholarship.
We therefore welcome proposals on any area of law, though we aim to select a topic that is timely, significant, and capable of generating engaging discussion and high-quality scholarship.
Proposals should include a detailed description of the suggested topic and its contribution to legal scholarship, potential themes or panel discussions, a list of prospective speakers and potential authors for publication, an anticipated budget and any secured or potential source of funding, and contact information of the proposed organizer. Applicants should further indicate whether potential speakers and authors have already been identified and confirmed, or whether assistance from the Pace Law Review will be requested in identifying and recruiting participants.
Please submit proposals to the Symposium Editor, Cayla Savoca, at csavoca@law.pace.edu by June 1, 2026. The Pace Law Review editorial board will review all submissions and may reach out to discuss proposals further. A final selection will be made shortly thereafter, with the chosen symposium to be held during the Fall 2026 semester. Selected symposium pieces will be included in the Pace Law Review, Volume 47, Issue 2, which will be published in Spring of 2027.
