Hiring Announcement: Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law (Assistant Director of Academic Success)

Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law seeks candidates for an Assistant Director of Academic Success to lead the law school’s academic support program.

The Assistant Director will work closely with students to develop the skills and strategies essential to success in law school and the legal profession, including legal analysis, writing, reading comprehension, and issue spotting. Responsibilities include developing and implementing academic support programming, providing individualized student instruction, teaching academic support courses and programs, and collaborating with faculty and administrators to support student success.

ONU Law is a close-knit, student-centered community with small classes and a longstanding commitment to individualized education and preparing practice-ready lawyers. The Assistant Director will play an important role in that mission by supporting students throughout their academic and professional development.

Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and have more than one year of prior academic support experience. Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
