The University of Arkansas School of Law welcomes applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for up to five tenure-track positions to begin in the fall of 2027. Subject matter needs are broad and include but are not limited to: Agricultural Law; Legal Research and Writing; Property Law; lawyering skills and related courses. We are also seeking a tenure-track candidate to direct a well-established Criminal Practice Clinic.
Applicants for the clinic position should have significant practice experience in criminal law, some familiarity with supervising law students or new attorneys, and willingness to gain admission to the Arkansas bar. Candidates for all positions must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring students. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent record of scholarship or, at the entry level, a strong potential for scholarship. Successful candidates will also show a commitment to service within and outside the University. Lateral candidates are encouraged to apply.
