I have profound regret that Caryl Yzenbaard has died. Caryl and I were friends and colleagues at the University of Alabama. She taught property, trusts, and estates. An obituary for her is in the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Alfred: Thank you for posting this. Caryl was an amazing teacher, trailblazer, mentor, colleague, and overall wonderful person. It’s hard for many folks today, including me, to appreciate the challenges she faced in the legal community and legal academia as a female lawyer and faculty member in the early 1970s. I will miss her.
