    Oldest player: Satchel Paige, Hoyt Wilhelm, Gaylord Perry, or maybe Tim Wakefield?

    Satchel Paige was the oldest player to appear in an All-Star game, at 47 years and 7 days.

    The youngest? Dwight Gooden at 19 years, 7 months, 24 days.
