We already knew we could do almost everything on our little iPhone. Thanks to the magic of capitalism, humans have created 140,000 different applications – from the mundane to the sublime – to run on that magical Apple toy. But most of those programs cost five bucks or less. Now, however, there’s a truly useful app for the aspiring lawyer. BarMax is offering a $999 California bar prep program that you can run anytime: sitting in a dentist’s waiting room, stuck in traffic, or even during long and boring meetings. The idea is great but the proof is in bar pass rates. And if I were the folks at BarMax, that’s the part I’d be sweating.
