I know Halle Berry won both the Oscar and the Razzie, but for different roles and different years apart. Did Amy Irving get nominated for both in Yentl? I know she got an inexplicable Oscar nod, so I could see that being it.
MarkE, you are right on both counts. Halle Berry won the Oscar for Monster's Ball in 2002 and the Razzie for Catwoman in 2005. Amy Irving was nomiated for both the Oscar and the Razzie for Yentl in 1984 (she also won a Razzie for Honeysuckle Rose in 1981). That leaves one actress remaining nominated for an Oscar and a Razzie in the same year for the same role.

Jason, that's right. Actually, my question is off because I asked what two "actresses" were nominated for an Oscar and a Razzie in the same year for the same role. The question should ask what two "stars" were nominated for an Oscar and a Razzie in the same year for the same role, with Coco being the second answer.
In a similar vein, Sofia Coppola won the 1990 Razzie (Godfather III) and the 2003 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay (Lost in Translation).
