The Entry Level Hiring Survey Has Begun!

Larry Solum has begun his annual survey of entry level law faculty hiring over at Legal Theory Blog.  The introductory post is here.  You can hop right over to the survey instrument – in this case, Survey Monkey – here.  And of course, feel free to follow this year's lateral hiring here and dean searches here

It seems to me that one tangible benefit to blawgs has been our ability to track faculty arrivals and departures.  It helps hiring committees spot up-and-comers and simplifies some early stages of dean searches.  And perhaps…just perhaps…it rationalizes reputational rankings of law schools.
