STETSON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LAW seeks to hire a tenured/tenure-track Director of Clinics and Internships
to begin in Fall 2011. The appointment may be lateral or entry-level…. The Director will coordinate the College of Law’s various internship and
clinical programs. Most of the College of Law’s clinics are hybrid
programs based in the government or legal-services office, although we
have a small, live-client Veterans Appellate
Clinic. The Director will have lead responsibility the Certified Legal
Intern program, which includes the prosecution, public defender, and
civil poverty clinics, and possibly other programs. For other programs,
the Director will collaborate with other members
of the full-time faculty. In addition, it is anticipated that the
Director will teach at least one other course to be determine based on
expertise and interests. While prior teaching experience and proven scholarship are not required
for an entry-level position, they may be an advantage. Applicants do not
need to be admitted to the Florida Bar, but Florida Bar membership or a
willingness to take the Florida Bar Examination

STETSON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LAW seeks visiting professors of all ranks
to fill a number of coverage visiting positions for the 2011-2012
academic year. One visitor may be a visiting assistant professor under
our Bruce R. Jacob Fellows program, which requires
a two-year commitment and includes mentoring with regard to securing a
permanent teaching position…. We are now seeking semester- or year-long coverage visitors for several
positions during the 2011–2012 academic year. Our needs are likely to
include the following areas: Administrative Law; Business Associations
or Corporations; Tax; Trusts and Estates, Contracts;
Property; and a variety of skills courses, including legal writing….

tenured/tenure-track positions for the 2011–2012 academic year.
Appointments may be lateral or entry-level…. For our tenured/tenure-track openings, we are most interested in
receiving applications in Property, Civil Procedure, and Constitutional
Law, but we anticipate hiring one position without a specific subject
area in mind. We are also seeking a tenured/tenure-track
professor who will also hold an administrative appointment as Director
of Clinics and Internships. Applicants who also have scholarly or
teaching interests in Trusts & Estates, Tax, Alternative Dispute
Resolution, Employment Law, Labor Law, or Immigration
Law in addition to the primary courses listed above are especially
