Anders Walkers Stepping into the Lounge

Walker_Anders My friend and fellow legal historian Anders Walker of St. Louis University's law school is stepping into the lounge to sit with us for a spell.  You may recall that Anders is the author of a very important and creative book on southern moderates in the years following Brown v. Board of Education, called The Ghost of Jim Crow: How Southern Moderates Used Brown v. Board of Education to Stall Civil Rights (Oxford University Press, 2009).  I had the pleasure of participating in a group discussion of Ghosts of Jim Crow over at prawfs about a year ago.

Anders was educated at Wesleyan University, Duke Law School, and Yale University's history department and his most recent article, "Blackboard Jungle: Delinquency, Desegregation, and the Cultural Politics of Brown," appeared in November in the Columbia Law Review.

I'm looking forward to hearing about Anders' latest book project, among many other topics.
