White privilege at the expense of students of color. Like the NFL or the NBA.
So Darryll, there HAS to be a black dean appointed or there is prejudice? It is that attitude that smacks of a quota based AA which is itseld a form of prejudice.
Mr. Jones,
Your pain is palpable and I am sorry this election cycle has exacerbated that. I am ashamed of the rhetoric. I am ashamed that one of the participants now has a huge platform and exhibits a nascent understanding of the law and our democratic institutions. I did not attend this school. However, I do know that the faculty and staff are fair minded and progressive. JMLS has always been known as a "non-traditional" law school and favors older working adults (coppers, second careers) and is very diverse. Its faculty members publish a treatise that many Illinois courts rely upon.

Darby is brilliant and a class act. John Marshall did itself a lot of good here.
I'm sure the students and alumni in Lubbock are breathing a sigh of relief as the Dickerson era has been marked by an overall decline in the morale of the law school. I hope the powers that be find a dynamic and effective dean to undo the damage she has caused and return the school to its rightful place as a top tier law school.
Mr. Randy,
To paraphrase,, you are must be a BAD 400 pound HOMBRE, sitting on your bed typing that post. Believe me, I know. Nasty.
