While I was attending school during the 80s, right after Ronald Deficit Reagan cut out my Pell Grants, I campaigned for Mondale and Ferraro. We bashed Ronald Deficit Reagan as a WAR MONGER for his Anti-Russian rhetoric and were very afraid of Global Thermo Nuclear War. We students wondered, "What was the big deal," and "Why can't we just talk to these people?" and all this anti-communism stuff was just political to gin up ignorant voters (remarkably similar to white grievance politics.)
