The University of Alabama School of Law has announced that William Brewbaker will be the new dean of its law school. He joined the faculty in 1993 and served as interim dean in 2013-14. Brewbaker, who holds a JD from Vanderbilt and an LL.M. from Duke, will take over on July 10. Bill and I served together on the Alabama Law faculty for eight years. He is one of the most authentic and thoughtful people I've known over my life and I am so pleased about his appointment.
