Reflections of a Former Law Faculty Candidate (Now Law Professor)

Borrowing the title of this post from Stephen Carter ….  Over at propertyprof, Tanya Marsh has some thoughts on the hiring process.  She's moving from IU-Indianapolis, where she's been teaching legal writing for the last few years, to Wake Forest, where she'll be teaching property.  Tanya reflects on the hiring process.  Among the take-aways, Tanya writes that "nobody really knows the secret to success and, in fact, the process is so individualized to particular hiring committees in a particular year at a particular school, that there likely is no secret."  Tanya's thoughts will be of particular interest to people going on the market.
